Transfer stock from plant to plant with different material types

Hi All,

      We have a requirement to transfer the stock from one plant to another plant but with different material types. For example, in "Plant1", Material "A" type is FG, in receiving "Plant2", Material "B" type is ROH. ( It's not possible to get the same material no in receiving plant, since we are using internal no generation for material number based on type). What is the standard procedure for this business process? Whether 309 movement is the right procedure?
