Re: Text not updating against Main Bank and Payable Bank account

This Issue is closed.

 

Solution-

 

Reason why the text and Business Area is blank is due to the missing Variant configuration for Manual Bank Reconciliation.

 

The Batch Input session is triggered from FF67. The data gets uploaded in FB05 during Batch Input Session is copied from FF67. Hence during FF67 we need to enter the text and Business Area, which will copy in FB05 during the entry posting. Hence the text and Business Area fields is available once we select the relevant Variant for Manual Bank Reconciliation.

 

1. The variant has to be initially configured or defined. Since Standard Variant defined by SAP is not serving the purpose.

 

2. After entering the details in FF67 and post the Manual Bank Reconciliation.

 

3. We can run the Batch Input Session in SM35. The detail gets copied from FF67 to FB05.

 

4. Then check the Main Bank Account Line Item in FBL3N. We can see the text and Business Area updated there as well.

Similarly we can check the Clearing Bank A/C in FBL3N as well and we get same result.
