Hi all,
I have two GLs which are used as recon accounts for assets. During the setup however, the relevant tables were not updated and postings made to these two GLs used incorrect Profit Center. The GLs are in balance, however, we need to move the amounts from one Profit Center to another.
Changing the recon account settings is possible, but I'm worried of the possible consequences the change might have in the long run. I plan to change the settings temporarily, journal the amounts form one pc to another and put the original settings back.
Could anyone advise on the possible problems this may cause, if any ?
