Thanks for your helpfull answer..I see that you are an SAP employee with lots of knowledge.. please help me understand this issue here..
Now I understand that even if I do backflush later in discrete or repetitive scenarios, there wont be any impact on my mrp run as system will see reservations and dep req as demand..all makes sense until here..
but there is another kind of backflush used in rep manufacturuing which will owerwrite the backflush profile.. see sap link below.

it says, in the first step ppcgo, system will move the stock to non mrp relevant storage location..and 2nd step it will backflush..
so what is the advantage of moving the stock to non mrp relevant storage location here in this scenario if there is no impact on MRP?
