Re: release code is changed on PR release strategy - old PR can´t be approved

It seems strange in itself that this cosmetic text change would cause issues.

Marta can check the processing of the release strategy in ME51n/ME52n in function module

ME_REL_STRATEGIE_EBAN.

I note that there are checks as follows:

IF ceban EQ *ceban AND i_check_always EQ space.     "562114
  EXIT.                                                 "562114
ENDIF.                                                  "562114

comm = 'CEBAN'.
PERFORM strategie_neu USING e_eban-frggr e_eban-frgst.

So the new CEBAN is compared to the previous one and a new strategy determination takes place

or not depending on the contents of the fields. It should also be noted that user exits EXIT_SAPLEBND_001 and EXIT_SAPBELND_004 might be in use and affect this particular case.

I hope it help some but it looks like a detailed analysis would be needed to confirm the reason for the

system behaviour regarding the release strategy here.
