Even with the latest SP for Crystal Reports XIR2 the SFDC driver supports very old version of salesforce.com API.

 

According to 1384116 - What are the Salesforce.com API version supported by
Crystal Reports?
CR XIR2 SP5 supports Version 13. It means some of the functionalities are not supported and may cause the problem you are facing.

 

The best way to test is to install trial version of CR 2011 and test the table.
