Some good ideas are above. You can control both transactions by User Status - see below how to set this up in t-code OIBS as User Status Profile to assign to the Order Type.
Note, however, that it is not possible through the User Status Profile to influence the User Status from MIGO - this only works automatically if you post Confirmations, or goods movements through Confirmations.
Note also that a User Status may be changed manually.
And you may also consider these statuses as numbered, as an alternative. This example has them unnumbered.
