Alex,
Couple of things to keep in-mind. BI 4.1 w/ SP5 supports SQL Server 2014 at this point, are you on the correct patch level. All the client tools ate 32bit and must have SQL Server 2014 32bit driver with System DSN ODBC must be the same name as 64bit ODBC created on the BI Platform.
