Typically in retailers, from a POS inbound sales perspective, the store number is the key and also the article type too plays a key role in the way the sales postings are handled into ECC.Also the article-site listing and account determination checks etc happen at the time of sales postings using the article master data record.And even in the site master data, distribution channel controls whether its a retail sales(POS sales), distribution, wholesale etc.
