Thanks Rohit. Yes, you understood my question correctly and really appreciate your correct and quick suggestion.
Removing those task ids from UWL XML is also a quickest solution with no need of any coding using UWL API.
I am wondering if it would be possible via UWL API, as there, I could see only query methods to 'get' list if workitems, but no 'set' method.
