re: 1259

Ashwini,

Our config is a bit complicated, and it probably will not match your world :-(.

It is first based on Employment Status.

For Withdrawn employees the feature looks at the Benefits First Program Grouping. (We created three special first program groupings - COBRA, Retiree and Part-Time working more than 130 hrs. As an example, if the WD employee worked more than 130 hrs/mo then per the IRS they are Fulltime Equivalent and in this feature they are classified as FTE. A WD employee who does not have COBRA, Retirement plan or worked less than 130 hrs/mo will be classified as NNE.)

If Inactive or Active, the feature looks at the Employee Sub Group, and classifies them as FTE if appropriate - example, salaried or hourly with benefits.

If they are in a part-time ESG the feature will look at the Benefits First Program Grouping; if they work more than 130 hrs/monththey will be identified as such and will be classified as FTE. If they work less than 130 hrs/mo they will be classified as PRT and will get a form only if their record shows that they have insurance for another reason (example, if they were salaried w/benefits for part of the year).

(I told you it was complicated :-).
