If you are getting the message one reason could be Business Function "Reporting Financials 2" not switched on. This you could get 
To resolve this please ask your BASIS or if you have authorization goto T. Code SFW5.
Search for Reporting Financials 2 and if you see the bulb symbol beside that is grayed then select that and on the System Settings Menu you will find Activate, Activate that. A background Job will be scheduled and once that completes the bulb will glow and then you could try extracting again. It will work.
I also face the same issue and this is how it got rectified.
