New to the migration/installation of BOE/ BI products and recently encountered the following:
I was able to successfully create a DSN to connect to SQL 2008 server Express database, but getting the above error message.
I also was unable to log into the CMC when I go to: http://<servername>:8086/CmcApp where I changed the default port from 8080 to 8086 during installation. The error I received when trying to access CMC was: Server <servername>:6400 not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) null
I looked up the null error message and some folks had to stop the SIA and Tomcat services in the CCM and then restart in this order: SIA then Tomcat, but that didn't work for me.
Also, when I tried to get into the Manage Server via the CCM, I get the following error:
I suspect that the CMS.exe service is either corrupted or not working so I tried to 'repair' but that didn't do anything either.
I see in the Event Viewer the following:
Server Intelligence Agent: CMS <servername>. CentralManagementServer has failed and the Server Intelligence Agent has not been able to connect to the cluster. Please verify your CMS port and database settings are correct.
I verified that the CMS is configured to default port 6400 and that the database settings is correct as I am connecting through 'sa' user account via DSN.
Any ideas?
