Re: Acquiring Lease asset with Downpayment

Hi Mukthar,

I understand how SAP will post the opening entry for lease asset, issue is the down payment.

For example : Company Acquires an Asset with a down payment of $ 100000 & monthly lease amount of $ 1000 to be paid for 3 years.

Interest Rate is 3 %.

Now, I do not see a field for specifying down payment on lease tab, also interest need not be calculated on down payment, it should be only on the PV for monthly lease.

So, not sure how to handle that in SAP fixed Asset module.
