I need to add a grand total (by product) dynamycally in the report footer to a report that shows sales by product.
The report design looks like this:
It seems like I cannot add a group in the report footer, so, I created a cross table. Everything is working correctly except a formula that calculates a percentage increase ((Initial_Price - Final_Price)/Final_Price)*100. As this is a cross table, by default is summarizing the result of the formula and it gives me weird numbers.
My goal is to show dinamycally the grand total per the existent products in the report selection:
Type Initial Price Final Price Price %
Product 1 2.4 2.5 -4
Product 2 3.2 3.4 -5.88
Product 3 2.7 3.0 -10
I need to find a way to calculate the percentage by referencing the values in Initial Price and Final Price to calculate the percentage, I have research and seems like GetGridValues() can work but I haven't figured out how to use it.
Is there another way to present this data?
