I feel this is process related issue, check below options Control record, Status of control record, Payroll run Test, Live run once cluster is updated then we can post the documents standard procedure.
Then we rerun payroll again cluster gets updated i.e we have to decide with posting run, document number then accordingly we release the document.
Now when we say certain wage types should not be posted i.e which are should not be available in payroll results, but we will have to understand thoroughly why they should not get processed then accordingly we can query date and nullify those values then they won't be available in RT i.eWage types are won't be available, Posting won't happen.
Even decide Posting characteristics of wage type do not maintain Posting characteristics for those wage type from 01.06.2016 i.e they wont get posted but they will be available in RT according to the requirement we can either cummulate, process with validity periods.
All depends on the complete requirement.
